Regular Update Schedule For Project Status

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Biweekly status updates should be the standard. I'd love to see a blog with interest articles, too.

I will definitely push for a biweekly status update schedule.

A blog on the other hand... There isn't that much interesting stuff happening while everyone is working on their projects (at least in my life)

Yeah, there's not really much going on on a weekly basis.

Unless you like watching numbers increase, I guess...

I kept track of Koi ga Saku Koro Sakura Doki  translation like a bloody hawk so I'm reasonably sure I would

Uhhh...I think I broke the forum system.

Looks like you copy pasted SakuSaku's title from VND ;p

There's a proper blog post coming up pretty soon where we're going to discuss a number of things. So far, we haven't really been trying to get out post unless we had things to say that were actually important.

What kinds of posts would you guys like to see in addition to those news/announcement posts?

Let's see. How about interesting things that happen at the workplace? What it's like being a localizer, or how discussing localization goes with the Japanese companies?

Well, I can only talk for me here but there isn't really anything happening here because my bedroom is literally my workplace

We will only get an official office in the next months:ph34r:

Oh that explains it, except why does it seem to be an all emcompassing eldritch horror that turns everything else black XD. And honestly just let us know the progress. Doesnt even need to be all that indepth, something like example vn reached 20% translated and 15% edited or something vague like so.

I'm guessing you looked for it, copypasted, then kept on typing.

How about a tour of the office once it gets set up?

I'd love to see interviews with the artists and scenario writers for NekoNyan's titles.

A "Visual Novel 101" series might be cool too. It could include stuff like:

  • The (Abridged) History of Visual Novels
  • Visual Novel Genres: A Nakige is Not a Nukige
  • Know Your "-dere"

Yea I did but I don't know why that makes everything black xD it's cool though.

Because you typed as a continuation of the copy and paste, you retained the formatting of the pasted material.

Btw is there any need to keep Fureraba on the project progress anymore? Since the VN is already released.

Well, there's still the Complete Edition content. There might be another QC pass, too.

I really would like to see more content about localizing. If it's not confidential, of course.

Well, sending screenshot how is the engine work going, how the translation going... Maybe, some lines of text...

And, of course, tour in office! I would like! I really want localizing companies be more open-minded and responsible!

Also some photos about package design works, etc... That would be really great.
