The reason of why? I don't have a great, and I can't talk about the story because even if I can read japanese, I'm nowhere near the level in which I can aactually fully understand it. My reason is: "I don't know how many VN's about music are already translated, and well.... there's always a first for everything, right?" On my search of new VN's to read, I found this one, and after I read the description, and watched something of the gameplay, I got interested in the game... Plus, I love music, and a VN around that? It's great!! Also, the CG's look really nice. DESCRIPTION (courtesy of vndb): Tsukasa is a sopranista-in-training, a male who can sing in the same vocal range as a female soprano. He had been studying overseas for the past year and came back to Japan a month early for vacation to surprise his parents. However, they were gone for a trip and were having the house fully renovated while away, so he ended up without a place to stay. After deciding to live alone for the month, he met a girl named Ayaka by chance when she heard him sing at the park. She told him that she had been looking for someone who could sing like him and wanted him to come to her school to sing at the upcoming festival. Even though he was troubled at the sudden request, he wasn’t able to turn her down and ended up at Shinou Academy, a European-style girls’ school. “W-Wait! D-Didn’t I tell you I’m a boy?” “But with your looks and voice…” His complaints fell on deaf ears and after being dressed up in girls’ clothes, he was surprised when he looked in the mirror. Tsukasa agreed to attend Miou Academy for the month as a girl, Izumi, and star as a ‘diva’ at the Shinou Festival one month later. OPENING: https://youtu.be/9AHMpmgKxBc
Publisher: Palette Qualia, Smile Artists: Tatekawa Mako, Komowata Haruka Short Summary: Trap deals with pervert, chunnibyo, and a lethal chef in an all girls school. What first drew me toward Otome Domain was the chibis done by Komowata. I've been a fan of her art ever since trying out Dracu-RIOT. However, I discovered that this is actually quite an interesting VN. For starters, the protagonist is voiced, which is pretty rare. He's very down-to-earth, which foils for the oddball heroines quite nicely. It looks to be relatively low-drama, which is a plus for me. The comedy aspect looks to be top notch though. My only reservation about this VN is that the facial expressions/poses don't appear to change during voiced sections. But it's something I can live with. I know you have a lot on your plate already, NekoNyansoft, but if you could consider this I'd be very grateful. (I'm not very good at making summaries or explaining myself, so I did the best I could.) VNDB: https://vndb.org/v18149
